Ingredients

  • Nendran bananas
  • Rice flour
  • Grated coconut
  • Jaggery (optional)
  • Salt
  • Water

Instructions

  1. 1Mash ripe Nendran bananas thoroughly.
  2. 2Mix mashed banana with rice flour and a pinch of salt.
  3. 3Layer grated coconut and banana-flour mixture in a puttu maker.
  4. 4Add jaggery pieces between layers if desired.
  5. 5Steam for 10-12 minutes until cooked and firm.
  6. 6Serve warm.
