Ghavan Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2.5 cups water (or as needed)
- Oil for cooking
- Optional: 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
Instructions
- Combine rice flour and salt in a large bowl.
- Gradually add water while whisking continuously to form a thin, lump-free batter.
- The batter should be of pouring consistency, similar to crepe batter.
- Heat a non-stick griddle (tava) on medium heat and lightly grease with oil.
- Pour a ladleful of batter onto the hot griddle, starting from the outer edge and swirling inwards, to form a thin, lacy crepe.
- Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook until the edges lift and the ghavan turns slightly golden.
- Carefully fold and remove from the griddle. Serve hot with coconut chutney or jaggery syrup.
