Pepper Boiled Eggs recipe — authentic Goa Indian dish from Masala Spin

Ingredients

  • 4 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (optional, for color)
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1 tsp coconut oil or butter
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1Peel the hard-boiled eggs and slice each in half lengthwise.
  2. 2Heat coconut oil or butter in a small pan over low heat.
  3. 3Place the egg halves, cut-side down, in the pan.
  4. 4Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, red chili flakes, and turmeric (if using).
  5. 5Cook for 2-3 minutes until the cut surface is lightly seared and spices are aromatic.
  6. 6Garnish with chopped fresh coriander.
  7. 7Serve warm as a quick side or protein-rich snack.
